The technology development investment of Kőolajvezetéképítő Zrt. is realized with European Union subsidies

On November 18, 2009 the Kőolajvezetéképítő Zrt. investment called “Technology development at Kőolajvezetéképítő Zrt. with machine purchase” was started with a festive opening ceremony.

István Újhelyi, under-secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office, Endre Zalántai, Mayor of Bácsalmás, and Gyula Tarsoly, Executive Director of the company, held speeches at the opening ceremony. After the official opening, the organizers held a press conference for representatives of the press and the media. The event was rounded off by a standing reception that provided amble opportunity for informal dialogue.
The 976 million Forint investment of Kőolajvezetéképítő Zrt. won a 488 million Forint EU subsidy through the Economic Development Operational Programme.


As part of the tender, KVV Zrt. took on to purchase and operate four Caterpillar 587T Pipelayer and two Caterpillar PL61-STD Pipelayer sideboom tractors. The main reason for the investment is the expected business expansion in the field of pipeline construction. After commissioning, the machines will work on the erection site of the DN800 Városföld to Drávaszerdahely pipeline.
